The 298-room hotel is right next door to the train depot and just a block away from downtown Williams and historic Route 66. With a variety of amenities such as complimentary WiFi, an indoor pool and hot tub, along with delicious dining options at the Fred Harvey Restaurant and Spenser’s Pub. The Grand Canyon Railway Hotel is the perfect place to stay before embarking on your grandest of journeys!

What You Will See:

The Grand Canyon

With its ever-changing and dramatic scenery of enormous proportions, the Grand Canyon is one of the world’s most spectacular landscapes. Its pine and fir forests, painted deserts, sandstone canyons, mesas and plateaus, volcanic and geologic features, the Colorado River, perennial streams, and waterfalls breathtakingly combine to form one of Earth’s greatest landmarks. The only one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World to be located in North America, more than 6,000,000 people visit the canyon each year, making it one of the most visited national parks in the United States.

Where You May Eat:

Fred Harvey Restaurant

The FRED HARVEY® Restaurant is the perfect start—or end—to your Grand Canyon journey. Located across from the hotel and adjacent to the depot, the 350-seat restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner for Grand Canyon Railway passengers and patrons. Savor the rail atmosphere as a model replica of the train circles the room in the buffet-only restaurant. A full gift shop with Grand Canyon Railway souvenirs is also in the restaurant.

At Grand Canyon Railway, they are proud to carry on the legacy of the Santa Fe Railroad and its partner, The Fred Harvey Company. Beginning in 1876, Fred Harvey introduced a new standard of service and quality with his “Harvey Houses” along Santa Fe Railroad routes throughout the West, including the world-famous El Tovar Hotel at Grand Canyon’s South Rim and the Frey Marcos Hotel here in our town of Williams.

Breakfast:

At the bountiful breakfast buffet, you’ll find traditional fare like farm fresh scrambled eggs, pancakes, french toast, hash browns, biscuits & gravy, crispy bacon and sausage. At the breakfast bar, we feature fresh fruits, yogurt, homemade granola, a variety of cold cereals, and hearty steel-cut oatmeal. The highlight of our breakfast buffet is the omelet station where your omelets or scrambled eggs are mixed with fresh meats and veggies, right in front of you.

Dinner:

Whether you’ve returned from your Grand Canyon adventure, or just arrived after a long day on the road – we hope you brought your appetite! Each and every night the dinner service features a full soup & salad bar and meat carving station. Each night the featured buffet entrées include selections inspired by recipes used by classic American railroads from the golden age of rail travel! You can also order fine wine and bottled beer from your table. Featured wines are from various Arizona and California wineries, as well as locally-brewed beers in addition to your favorite brews.
